V1CE Terms of Service

Welcome to V1CE! These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our digital and physical products and services, including our website (v1ce.co), NFC cards, the V1CE App, and all associated subscription plans. By using the V1CE App, purchasing, subscribing, or participating in a trial, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. General Terms & Applicability

These Terms apply to all interactions with V1CE Limited (Company Number: 12681711), registered in the United Kingdom.

  • We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Updates become effective immediately upon posting on our website or within the V1CE App. Continued use of V1CE products or services signifies your acceptance of the revised Terms.
  • Existing Customers: Customers who purchased a product or subscription before the date of this revision (November 2025) will remain governed by the previous Terms. Transition to these new Terms is voluntary and requires an explicit request to support.

2. Products, Plans & Pricing

Subscription Plans and Access

V1CE offers various plans, including a Free Plan (features subject to change) and paid monthly or annual subscriptions (e.g., Plus, Teams). The V1CE App is the central platform for managing your account, profile, and subscription services.

  • Free or discounted cards accessed via a trial or subscription are tied to the specific plan selected. Once shipped, you are liable for that billing cycle's payment.
  • All annual plans are non-refundable and continue until the end of the subscription period.
  • All paid subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 48 hours before the next billing date.
  • Lifetime Replacements: All active V1CE members on a paid subscription plan are entitled to Lifetime Card Replacements. If your active V1CE card is lost, damaged, or ceases to function, we will provide a new, comparable card at no additional cost for as long as your paid membership remains active.
Pricing Changes
  • V1CE reserves the right to adjust pricing for any subscription plan or physical product at any time, with or without prior notification.
  • While price changes may occur, we will make every effort to avoid automatically upgrading your existing subscription or migrating you to a higher-priced plan without your explicit consent. The only exceptions where automatic changes may occur are where we are legally compelled by government agencies or regulatory policy changes.

3. Trials and Renewals

All V1CE trials are 30 days long and are designed to drive users to the V1CE App to create a profile, select a plan, and receive their included card.

A. V1CE Plus Trial (Individual)
  • Eligible customers may receive one free customizable V1CE card and 30 days of complimentary access to V1CE Plus features.
  • Renewal: The trial will automatically renew into the selected annual subscription unless cancelled at least 48 hours prior to the renewal date.
B. V1CE Teams Trial (Group)
  • This trial is available for larger teams and includes up to 15 free V1CE cards to initiate the service.
  • Card Volume: Teams requiring more than 15 cards during the trial will transition to the Unlimited tier and receive a 70% discount on the purchase price of physical cards exceeding the initial free limit.
  • Renewal: The team trial will automatically renew into the selected annual subscription unless cancelled at least 48 hours prior to the renewal date.
Trial Conditions
  • No refunds are issued during or after the trial period. No reprints or replacement cards are issued while on trial status.
  • Card Status Post-Trial: If the trial is not converted to a paid subscription, the associated cards will be automatically blocked and permanently disabled. Proof of card destruction may be requested for compliance, though physical return is not required.
  • Limit: One trial (Plus or Teams) per customer or business entity.

4. Guarantees and Refunds

A. Never Go Back Guarantee (Networking Guarantee)

This guarantee is offered to paid customers and reflects our confidence in V1CE products.

  • Promise: If you subsequently find it necessary to print traditional paper business cards or create a non-V1CE QR code for professional networking purposes, we will refund your original V1CE card purchase price in full.
  • Procedure: You must provide verifiable evidence of the paper cards or QR code and a clear explanation of why the V1CE system was inadequate. V1CE may request the return of the original V1CE card and/or accessories (at customer's expense) for verification prior to processing the refund.
  • Coverage & Exclusions: Refund applies only to the original card purchase price (excluding subscriptions, services, shipping, and accessories). Cards from free trials or promotional offers are excluded. Non-networking uses (e.g., event flyers) are excluded.
B. Double Your Leads Guarantee (Performance Guarantee)
  • Promise: If you utilize your V1CE card at a professional event and determine that your lead generation did not substantially improve compared to traditional methods, you are entitled to a full refund of your original V1CE card purchase price.
  • Good Faith Assertion: By submitting a claim, you assert in good faith that the V1CE card did not deliver the substantial improvement in lead generation expected at the specified event.
  • Limit: One claim per customer across both guarantees. Once a refund is issued, the associated card will be deactivated and cannot be reactivated.

5. Reprints, Returns & Exchanges

  • Reprint Policy: If a product contains production errors or does not match the approved proof, V1CE will provide a no-cost reprint. Customer errors, aesthetic visualisation issues, or disregard of proof warnings do not qualify.
  • Returns: Custom NFC cards are non-returnable and non-refundable once printed. Products should only be returned if explicitly instructed by V1CE.

6. Shipping & Delivery

  • Risk Transfer: V1CE is responsible for production and packaging. Liability passes to the customer once the order is transferred to the carrier. Damages or delays must be addressed with the carrier.
  • Reshipment: If an order is returned as undeliverable, reshipment fees apply (110% of the initial shipping cost).
  • International: International orders may incur customs duties or fees, which are the customer's sole responsibility.

7. Account & App Operation

  • User Responsibility: You are responsible for maintaining your account and card security. Reselling, tampering, or fraudulent use of V1CE services is prohibited.
  • App Availability: The V1CE App is provided as part of your service. Occasional downtime may occur due to maintenance or external factors. We aim to resolve major technical issues within 48 hours. Misuse or interference with the app's operation is prohibited.

8. Privacy, Liability, and Law

  • Data Protection: Personal data is collected and used according to our Privacy Policy for fulfilment, subscription management, and service improvement.
  • Limitation of Liability: V1CE is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific product or subscription in question.
  • Governing Law: These Terms are governed by and construed under the laws of the United Kingdom. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of UK courts.
